Metal Glove Solid: Released at Last!

After being given a proverbial kick up the bum, I can now announce that I've sprinted the last straight and have got Metal Glove into a releasable state, and released it!

Needless to say, all the usual disclaimers apply: it's the first version, it's very sparse, probably has bugs etc.. etc..

Anyway, it's available here.

The game is very slow and the movement kind of lags..

I suggest you publish the release on for example the linux game tome to get some testers?

well, on my 1.6Ghz pentium 6200Go it's got usable speed, although the figure's "animation" is kind of jumpy. I guess, the edge of the 'loaded' map should be overlapping the screen edge, now I can see the loading of map squares. it's working good. Congratulations!

Thanks for the comments. I'll be looking to improve the speed and the maps in the next version.
